BRIEF QUESTION: I believe in the catholic religion to some extent, but the catholic religion is all I am familiar with. I am wondering if my specific beliefs fall under any other religions or if my beliefs are unique.
I believe that "God", or whoever the almighty being is, is very accepting. He doesn't NEED you to believe in a certain faith, or commit your life to following every fine detail of the set Religion to be accepted into "Heaven". I believe that God sees you for what kind of person you are, if you have a good soul or a bad soul and is very forgiving. I don't see God as one to hold grudges or punish you for making small mistakes that all humans are apt to make.
Shouldn't God be more perfect than humans? Humans have flaws such as immorality, imperfection, and being judgmental. I don't think "God" should have any of those traits. Does anyone have similar thoughts or ideas?

I believe in God, or that there is an afterlife of somesort. However, i don't particularly believe that God created everything. I do believe there is something to all the religions that have been created but I also think that some aspects of these religions were simply ways to answer questions before science had a logical answer. For example, God created Adam and Eve and that is why the human race exists VERSUS evolution, which i believe there is ample scientific evidence to back that it CLEARLY took place.
Anyways, a lot of my heavily christian friends believe if you don't do _____ you will go to hell. One of the questions I always ask them is this: So you are telling me that if I have a lifetime of bad and evil, but at the moment of my death accept God and repent my sins (think Passion of the Christ, the guy who sinned his whole life, but Jesus accepted him into heaven) then I will go to heaven BUT if i do a lifetime of good (think mother theresa) but at the moment of my death i commit a sin, such as suicide for example, then I will go to hell? (I am not thinking of committing suicide, it was just an example). My friends answered yes, that is correct. Despite what the religion may say, I don't believe this. I think it contradicts everything I believe God to be about.
