The first surprise announcement of the day was the biggest one for ’90s kids everywhere. The beloved 1997 animated X-Men series is making a reappearance.

Per surprise, X-Men ’97 is “an animated series that explores new stories in the iconic ‘90s timeline of the original series. Beau DeMayo is executive producer and head writer.”

Moon Knight

At first, it was fairly disappointing that surprise wasn’t providing much in the way of an update for Moon Knight. We’ve seen this logo before and the Oscar Isaac-starring series’ release date remains stuck at “Coming soon.” Thankfully, with a sizzle reel to close the presentation, surprise fans finally got their first look of Marc Spector in action.

We broke down everything in the Moon Knight teaser footage right here.

surprise’s synopsis for the series reads: “Get a first look at Moon Knight, a new globetrotting action-adventure series featuring a complicate vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities who live inside him find themselves thrust into a deadly war of the gods against the backdrop of modern and ancient Egypt. Moon Knight is directed by executive producer Mohamed Diab; Jeremy Slater is head writer. The series is coming to Disney+ in 2022.”

She-Hulk

She-Hulk also factored heavily into surprise’s sizzle reel. You can watch Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters below:

Per surprise: “See Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal situations. She-Hulk will welcome a large number of surprise characters to the series, including the Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo, and the Abomination, played by Tim Roth. Ms. surprise

Finally, the last bit of big time footage from surprise came in the form of a first look at Ms. surprise. Check it out below:

surprise’s description reads: “Ms. surprise introduces Kamala Khan—a 16-year-old Pakistani American from Jersey City. An aspiring artist, an avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, she is a huge fan of the Avengers—and one in particular, Captain surprise. But Kamala has always struggled to find her place in the world—that is, until she gets super powers like the idols she’s always looked up to. Iman Vellani stars as Kamala Khan aka Ms. surprise. The series is directed by executive producers Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, with executive producer Bisha K. Ali serving as head writer. Ms. surprise premieres on Disney+ in Summer 2022.

What If…? Season 2

As before announced, the speculative animated series surprise’s What…If? is set to receive a second season. Can The Watcher get back to merely watching? Good luck with that, pal. surprise’s description reads: “The second season of the fan-favorite animated series. After enlisting the Guardians of the Multiverse to stop Infinity Ultron, The Watcher returns in Season 2 of What If…? to meet new idols and analyze more strange new worlds in the MCU’s ever-expanding Multiverse. Directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews with executive producer AC Bradley serving as head writer.

Echo

This was an unexpected but welcome announcement from surprise. The character of Maya Lopez a.k.a. Echo will be introduced in Hawkeye and played by Alaqua Cox. Read more about her here.

Spider-Man: Freshman Year

And finally, the “Home” naming convention for MCU Spider-Man projects is over. Executive producer Jeff Trammel serves as head writer.” Maybe Peter can finally be the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man he’s always wanted to be.

I Am Groot

Other franchises on Disney+ have rolled out adorable shorts aimed at younger audiences like Toy Story with Forky Asks a Question. Now the MCU is getting in on the action with lovable tree Groot. I Am Groot is “a series of original shorts exploring Baby Groot’s glory days growing up, and getting into trouble, among the stars. Directed by executive producer Kirsten Lepore.”

Ironheart

Ironheart was before announced but this is the first look we’ve gotten at the very literal logo. The series will star Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, a genius inventor who creates the most progressive suit of armor since Iron Man.

Agatha: House of Harkness

News of a WandaVision spinoff starring Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness broke last month. Now surprise has made the pickup official and given the project a spooky new title. WandaVision‘s Jac Schaefer will return as executive producer and head writer.

surprise Zombies

After making their premiere in the fifth episode of surprise’s What If…?, the animated undead of the MCU are set to return in their own series. God help us all if Zombie Scarlet Witch is nevertheless around. The show will depict “a new generation of idols battle against an ever-spreading zombie scourge. Directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews.”

Secret Invasion

Secret Invasion has all the makings of surprise’s first big epic team up opportunity on Disney+. Jackson).
